Huadian GE Aero Gas Turbine Equipment Co., Ltd. (HDGE), a joint venture by Huadian Distributed Energy Engineering Technology Co., Ltd.(HDEET) and GE (China) Co., Ltd. Jointly, was established in Shanghai Xinzhuang Industrial Zone in July, 2012. The registered capital is $58.49 million, of which HDEET contributed $29.83 million, accounting for 51%, GE China contributed $28.66 million, accounting for 49%.

Jiangsu Jinhu Economic Development Zone Natural Gas Distributed Energy Project is located in Jinhu, Huai'an, Jiangsu Province. It mainly supplies electricity to Jinhu Economic Development Zone and thermal energy to over ten enterprises of feed processing, food, medicine, rubber and plastic industries.

Two sets of 30MW gas-steam combined cycle units for CCHP was constructed in the first phase, configured with two LM2500+G4 gas turbines, two extraction condensing steam turbines and two dual pressure heat recovery steam generators, with a generating capacity of about 80 MW and a heat output of 60T/h. Lithium bromide refrigeration unit and hot & cold tube network are also constructed, and the comprehensive energy utilization rate will be over 70%. The first phase was officially started on September 28, 2017 and put into operation in 2019.
