Huadian GE Aero Gas Turbine Equipment Co., Ltd. (HDGE), a joint venture by Huadian Distributed Energy Engineering Technology Co., Ltd.(HDEET) and GE (China) Co., Ltd. Jointly, was established in Shanghai Xinzhuang Industrial Zone in July, 2012. The registered capital is $58.49 million, of which HDEET contributed $29.83 million, accounting for 51%, GE China contributed $28.66 million, accounting for 49%.

The project is located in the economic development zone of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of 7.58 acre with a total investment of RMB 800 million yuan, is the first regional natural gas distributed energy project autonomously developed and constructed by China Resource Power. 2×42MW gas-steam combined cycle generator units were installed in the project phase, equipped with a condensing steam turbine and a back pressure steam turbine, the total installed capacity of the whole plant is 108.3MW, and the project's comprehensive energy utilization efficiency has reached more than 80%.

The project was commenced in August 2017, and planned to be put into operation in 2019, with an expected annual power generation capacity of 650 million KWh, an expected heat supply of 600,000 tons, and an expected cooling load of 200 million KWh.
